So the gals had heard the story.
They saw the ring.
We had lunch and decided that we should take a trip to Davids Bridal...
The slide show "Sneak Peeks" shows the fun day of trying on dresses... I didn't find mine at Davids Bridal, I found it at a little shop and completely unexpectantly!!! That is how life works right!!! There will not be any pictures of my dress until the actual wedding because I can't risk my future hubby seeing it accidently!!! It should be here anytime!!!

The Proposal....
Here is a collection of some pics for the family and friends....everyone but Ryan! He can see them after November 1st! I wish everyone could here all the time but I will keep this as updated as possible so we can share some of the big moments!

The first slide show is of the proposal....
Here's the girl version and all the gooey details....
It is a typical night of hanging out with friends...dinner and a movie night. Dinner was awesome and we head to the show. As fate would have it, the movie, which we already had tickets for, was sold out. We decided to raincheck the movie date. Ryan suggested we go to watch the sunset which happened to be amazing! So he takes me to the Marina and I suggest the beach. I asked him where we could actually see the sunset because we pulled into the parking lot and it did not look promising for a romantic sunset! He leads me to the gazebo. As we walked along the pier, I could not get him to smile for a picture! As we come to the end and I admire his choice on sunset viewing locations, he wraps his arms around me and we gaze into the beautiful sunset. Our God sure knows how to create a scene! He asks me "Do you love me?". Silly question, "of course I love you!" The converstion continues...
"Do you want to marry me someday?"
"Of course I want to marry you some day".... and then I trail off as I tell him all about the conversation with my girls the night before and how much I missed him in Sudan and how I couldn't imagine a day without him.... Trailed on and on....
"Are you sure that you love me?"
Again... silly question! "Yes I love you!"
"And you are sure you want to marry me?"
I begin to wonder what is really going on and the butterflies begin...
He is still hugging me and begins to let go a bit....
He continues with his silly question "Do you love me?"
"And you are sure that you want to marry me?...."
As he lets go a bit more and tears well up in my eyes, I can barely turn around because by now the butterflies have taken over my body and the excitement of the moment consumes me... I think "Please let this be what I think it is because if I am wrong...." I turn as he is asking still... "Are you sure you want to marry me?... I fumbled over my yes and turned to see him going down on one knee....
"Then will you.... Will you marry me?!?"
As tears consume my eyes, I say "YES!!!! Of course I will marry you!!!"
I can't thank God enough for blessing us with such an amazing love!!!
We could not have found it on our own and we didn't until we both stopped trying....

Love....True Love....
Hey this is another attempt at setting up a site since computers hate me! 94 days and counting til the BIGGEST day of my life so far! I love you guys and can't wait to share these moments with you!
